If you don’t know the work of Iowa’s finest song-writer, Greg Brown, you really should seek him out. He has released about twenty albums over the past few decades and really is something to behold. I’ve recorded many versions of this song over the past decade which have never thus-far made it onto an album. Having my entire list of things to do blown away this spring seemed the perfect time to share it with the listless and under-employed performers of this world and anyone else who finds themselves a a loose end in lock-down.
